● Master’s Degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Development Journalism, Business Journalism & Corporate Communication or other closely related fields ● Minimum 65% marks/equivalent CGPA ● Should be a fresher/ recent graduate with 0-2 years of work experience ● Preferably, provide a dossier of relevant work experience by way of URLs, etc.
Basis your qualifications and skill-sets, a consolidated amount up to ₹ 20,000 – ₹ 50,000 per month, inclusive of local transport allowance and all taxes.
● Advanced skills in the MS office suite and communication-related software ● Understanding of developing preliminary communications strategies and campaigns ● Strong analytical, conceptualization and communication skills, good understanding of market research techniques and data analytics, outstanding attention to detail ● Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive; ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a range of partners and authorities at different levels with an enthusiasm for digital marketing, technology and social impact ● Entrepreneurial spirit, including ability to work independently and autonomously ● Expertise in branding strategy, developing AVs, multi-media presentations would be preferred. Knowledge of web design, publishing, basic graphics software would be an advantage ● Additional skill set of working on self-authorising tools like Articulate 360◦, iPresenter, Mind map, etc. ● Particular interest in citizen centric technology, public policy and advocacy, social enterprises ● Should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be adept at time-management. ● Should be willing to work at the Institute on a full-time basis
The Program Associate will have the opportunity of driving CDGs charter of operationalizing the NUIS strategy by working across functions of strategy & planning, research & insights, communication & outreach and program impact towards shaping the branding and identity of CDG in the urban ecosystem. He/She is expected to handle and to facilitate timely completion of tasks and will be deputed under the supervision of Program Manager/ Team with the following tasks: Research, primary and secondary data collection, qualitative and quantitative analysis on urban e-governance program and status across cities/states. Collect materials and stay updated on latest information and developments regarding urban e-governance, policies, programs, initiatives. Prepare materials on strategies and best practices regarding digital transformation in urban governance Provide support for high-quality presentations and publications Travel to field sites to collect and record data, prepare market research including secondary and primary information gathering as needed Attend project meetings and engage in brainstorming sessions Organizing, attending and making presentations at meetings, consultations, webinars and events. Create state / city specific insights which can create custom consultation materials for program design and delivery Provide program team support in implementing outreach and communication strategy Build narrative of the CDG through documentation of success stories, best practices, etc. Translate policy/ program materials and documents in user-friendly, straightforward and engaging collaterals Development of media and stakeholder materials to communicate relevant messages Development, editing and publishing of the content of strategic corporate communication materials such as induction decks, briefing documents, brochures, fliers, promotional emails, factsheets, information package, media kits, press notes, donor kits, annual reports, project reports, etc. Develop and manage content for website and social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) suitable for the objective of dissemination and interaction with the stakeholders Closely follow external tech policy environment that has implications on the company’s operations Keep up- to- date with the work of all of the project teams, as well as the organization as a whole, in order to provide timely information to respective audiences. Develop and share ideas to amplify for Good narrative among policy makers and B2C media (community engagement and awareness) Identify opportunities to work with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support the overall communication objectives Support in communication initiatives of the projects as per the requirement; in organization of events and campaigns Working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Develop materials including press releases, campaign briefs and messaging documents to drive communication objectives Organizing, attending and making presentations at meetings, consultations, webinars and events.
