 To manage subcontractors for Engineering, Procurement and Construction

project in compliances with contractual terms & conditions and commercial contract law

 To assist in overseeing the Main Contracts and prevent and/or resolve disputes in collaboration with relevant Bus

 To provide continuous support to the Deputy or Assistant Contracts Manager or Contracts Engineer for Middle East and elsewhere, if necessary.

Major Activities

Contracting Management

Tenders and Contracts

 Keep track and administer Contract documents

 Reviewing of Tenders and Contracts when required

 Assist and provide contractual advice or interpretation

 Assist company in highlighting critical requirements and any deviation in compliance with terms & conditions during tendering, negotiating, and execution of contracts


 Plan, draft, negotiate, award, and execute and keep records of Subcontracts

 Assist in coordinating with internal disciplines and Subcontractors

 Assist in commercial clarification with Subcontractors Disputes

 Assist in disputes

 Review/draft correspondences and documents for third parties/internal disciplines and assist to propose solution

 Assist to provide contractual advice and defend against deviation in subcontractor’s claims Projects

 Assist in administration of procurement and contracts

 Assist with internal Disciplines for the evaluation of Service Providers

Qualification of Vendors

 Assisting and coordinating qualification of Vendors Ad-hoc duties


Describe 1-2 major challenge(s) faced in carrying out this job. Also outline the context of the challenge(s) and what is done to overcome them.

 To manage contractual terms & conditions and commercial contract law that abide applicable form of contract standards such as FIDIC etc.


 Reports and proposes resolution to Contracts Engineer for Middle East Region for any disputes, contract/subcontract processes, negotiation, and any crucial or critical issues contractually
